“Dr. Lamia Hamrouni, scientist participating in SUSTEMICROP Project (PRIMA 2021) has recently organized (6-8, November, 2023) a Training Session for rural women of Tunisia that was held in the Women’s Training Center at Ben Arous (Chebbeda region). The objectives of this Training Session was to disseminate the results of SUSTEMICROP project between women of rural areas to strengthen their skills to enhance the utilization of forest resources, improve their quality of life, and create employment opportunities. The Training Session was organized in collaboration with CRDA Ben Arous (https://www.facebook.com/crda.ben.arous/about), under the capable leadership of Miss Nadia Weslati. Additionally, it’s worth noting that INRGREF (University of Carthage) has signed a formal agreement in place with CRDA (Regional Commision for Agricultural Development) Ben Arous, further cementing our partnership and commitment to this initiative. This agreement will promote research results between farmers and rural populations to stimulate socio-economic development.
