SUSTEMICROP Consortium has published a new scientific publication¡¡¡¡ The manuscript has been published in the HORTICULTURAE journal, #MDPIOpenAccess. The title of the manuscript is “Isolation and Characterization of Pseudomonas sp. HX1, Streptomyces luteogriseus HR40, and Streptomyces flavofungini HR77 as Promising Biocontrol Agents Against VerticilliumWilt in Hops Affected by Verticillium nonalfalfae”. The manuscript is the result of a collaboration between the University Of León (Spain) and the Slovenian Institute for Hop Research and Brewing (Slovenia) and describes the isolation and characterization of 3 bacterial strains from the rhizosphere and endosphere of hop plants and their selection as putative BCAs to control Verticillim wilt. We will continue working on these bacterial strains to provide farmers with tools to control this devastating disease in the future.
